Carol Waters serves as the Extension Educator for Commercial Fruit & Vegetable Production in Southeast Nebraska, based in Cass County.  She has primary responsibilities in working with commercial fruit & vegetable producers in production, marketing, and local food systems.  Carol has been with the Cooperative Extension Service for 20 years working in multiple states.  She received her M.S. in Horticulture from Iowa State University and B.S. in Horticulture from Northwest Missouri State University.

A native to Missouri, Carol now lives in Omaha, NE with her husband Bill where they have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a school of fish.
